Awesome food! Cooked right in front of you. Locals hangout, very loose atmosphere. You will most likely have to wait for a seat as this place is always packed!

My wife and I dined at the bar on the restaurants fourth day of being open and they were hitting on all cylinders. You would have thought that the place had been opened for months if not years for how smoothly things were going. The mahi mahi blt was spectacular as was the pulled pork sandwiches. Great wines by the glass as well. Looking forward to going back here when our travels brings us through this area.

One of my favorite restaurants in the valley. Off the dinner menu, I personally recommend the escargot and Bernard's osso bucco. For breakfast, almost anything is a winner: try the magnificent French toast or the hearty Farmer's Eggs. And, throughout the winter season, Bernard's soups can't be beat.

Lupe and her staff are amazing at not only remembering how you take your margarita (mine is perfecto, w/ Grand Marnier, and Hornitos tequila, naked like my men, that means no salt on the glass) but they can also chat with you at the bar in English while answering questions in Spanish at the same time. I often just sit at the colorful and lively bar and have my libations along with 2 grilled, tilapia lime tacos in corn tortilla shells w green sauce or a chille relleno light on the cheese with a side salad from the ala carte menu to keep it filling but cheap. Just about the time I am half way done with my margarita, another drink arrives along with my food, always served up hot and in good sized portions. The wait staff are always a step ahead in their follow up visits to the table to make sure everything is flowing smoothly and that no one wants for another drink or more chips and salsa unnoticed. Its also a great place to bring the family as it's colorful but casual with room to spread out and let the kids run around. Its the hot spot on Friday nights with a 20 minute wait for a table the norm so get there early. Considering you have 2 other choices just a few doors down, El Korita is a great choice when looking for upbeat, affordable, comfortable & colorful drinks and entrees served up just right every time.

Love! Love! Love! I moved to L.A. but every time I'm in town I make sure to grab breakfast or Lunch at Scotties. Fast and friendly service and absolutely some of the best sandwiches around. Plus the daily specials are always delicious.

Excellent place. Love the tapas menu and the entrees selection amazes everytime. I had the fish special which was perfectly cooked and delicious. Combined with a wine recommended by the knowledgeable waiter this was heaven. An you HAVE to love a place that actually remembers you when you go back! These folks are amazing at knowing you, making you feel at home and providing excellent service.

I love the bagel sandwiches at the Upper Crust. I usually pick the Veg Head as it is packed full of fresh vegetables. The service is very quick. You pick the type of bagel you want it on or bread, and they pop the bagel into the toaster. My bagel had hummus, guacamole, tomatoes, sprouts, onions, lettuce and peppers on it. It comes with a side of macroni salad or bagel chips. If you don't want to go to City Market hungry I suggest you visit the Upper Crust before you go.
