Reviews of Midland Bakery & Cafe OVERALL RATINGS
Add Your Review July 14, 2010 Overall Rating: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The food and service at Midland is excellent. I have breakfast there 3-4 days a week and bring our young kids on our bikes most weekends in the non-winter months. The staff is humorous and friendly instead of stiff and snotty (like the other Basalt coffee house).
February 25, 2010 Overall Rating: ![]() ![]() ![]() Have been in here a number of times. Sorry to say the service is often rude and the food quality and quantity varies each time. Neither the owners nor the waitstaff care about if you like the food or not. Too much attitude... go back to Seattle.
February 10, 2010 Overall Rating: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I am using Midland Bakery's free Wifi access as I write this! I love when restaurants give you access to the internet. Out of all the restaurants in Basalt,Midland Bakery is one of my favorite. I stopped in for lunch and had the tomato Bisque soup for $5.50. One of the best deals for a great lunch in Aspen or Basalt. I also added a nutterbutter dessert to it. Yummy. My total was $8.17. The soup was excellent and a touch of spice to it. I have also had their huevos rancheros ($9) for breakfast and their tomato Caprese. All of the food here as been excellent with a nice relaxing atmosphere. I am also staring at a sign that says all wines are $15/bottle. Is there any other restaurant in Basalt that can match that? If you are in Basalt, I highly recommend stopping here for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
